Public consultation on a new employment development at the Temple Bar junction of the A27 in Chichester

Heaver Commercial is preparing a proposal for a new employment development immediately north of the Temple Bar Junction of the A27 in Chichester.

This will be a significant employment development that will:

Create more than 700 jobs, within walking distance of the large, new residential developments at Tangmere and Westhampnett

Contribute £55 million a year to the local economy

Contribute towards improvements on the A27 around Chichester to reduce congestion

Generate over half a million pounds in business rates for the council to spend on local priorities

Planning permission will be sought for around 60,000 square metres of best-in-class employment space, sympathetically designed with a new public open space, new green landscaping, planting and open spaces to achieve a biodiversity net gain on the site and screen the development.

On 7 February we held an online presentation over Zoom for local people. The recording of the video is below. You can listen to members of the project team talk through the proposals and answer questions from the public.
